Postdoctoral Scientist

Rosanna La Rocca is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Talisman Therapeutics. She undertakes experimental work across a wide range of collaborative projects at Talisman.

Before joining Talisman, Rosanna worked for five years as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa, Italy. During that time, she worked on the development of new nanostructured biosensors for cell biology and drug delivery.

Rosanna has an undergraduate Master’s degree from the University of Rome and a PhD from the University of Catanzaro. Her PhD research focused on understanding a number of aspects of Natural Killer cells and MHC class I protein expression. In particular, she worked on the mechanism that leads NK cells to kill myeloma cells.
